“ZERO - G” .22 RIMFIRE BARREL DEBUTS AT 2009 WORLD SPEED SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIPS

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – Randy Lee, known for revolutionizing revolver double action triggers, announces the addition of the new “Zero-G” .22 Rimfire barrel to his line of quality Apex products. It will be debuted during the Rimfire Event at the Steel Challenge held August 13-15 in Piru, California.

The “Zero-G” Rimfire barrel is made from lightweight (less than 5 oz.); durable high carbon stainless steel and is specifically designed for the S&W Model 617 .22 LR revolver with electro-optics.

This fluted barrel offers Revolver Rimfire Competitors the advantage of faster acceleration/deceleration by relocating the center of gravity closer to the shooter’s hands. Target engagement split time is significantly improved without compromising accuracy.

Be interesting to see how that works out.

Remember when heavy bull barrels were used to help keep the gun from moving so much in DA fire?

This thing seems like it would be near impossible to keep on target.

With Randy's new hammer for the 617 that gives you a dead smooth 6lb trigger, keeping it on target is no problem. Press release coming soon for that too.
