I own, have read through and use as a reference, Richard Lee's 'Modern Reloading' 1st. edition.
Has anyone picked up the second edition and if so is it worth getting if someone has the 1st.?
I guess what I'm asking is how much if any new material is contained in the 2nd. edition as compared with the first. Thanks.

I haven't seen it yet, but if I had to guess I'd say it's the same book updated for calibers & powders that were introduced after the 1st edtion was printed.
480 Ruger wasn't around then, neither were the Win. short magnums.

I don't have the first edition so I 'm not sure, but i think there are extra warnings about the Lee priming system ( not to use Federal Primers etc...) in the 2nd edition too.

I have the 1st edition, the primer warnings are in there too :) I imgaine it's primarily load data, maybe a new introduction. If I get the chance to look through it I might be able to contribute more "insight".
