just bought one .the hammer sticks all the way back when trying to fire single action . fails to fire half the time in double action too. who fixes them? how do you get into the lockwork?help!

You get into the lockwork by removing the cylinder, crane and cylinder plunger and spring. Then you punch out the hammer pin and pull the trigger group down and out of the upper frame.
IMHO, it sounds like the hammer spring or the hammer spring guide is bent or in wrong.
Most parts are available and any good gunsmith should be able to fix the gun, but the cost might be more than the gun is worth.

Thanks Jim: Maybe I can get a video and try it myself. its a nice clean 22mag.it might be worth it to go to a gunsmith.

They ain't no fun to put back together!
You have to use slave pins to hold the guts together on the bench, then drive them out with the real pins after the grip is back in the frame.
Prodably not a good first gunsmithing project!
