Why are Korth hand guns so expensive? Are they really worth it? Are they that much better than say a Smith and Wesson or a Colt?

1) Because of the precision hand-fitting labor involved. 2) Yes. 3) Oh hell yeah!

I have a hunch they're a lot like Mercedes-Benz cars: good, but not insanely great.

And, no, they aren't less expensive in Europe. Looked at one recently in Brussels. What with the Euro vs. US dollar exchange rate cost was just about the same. No matter what the currency they cost a LOT. Good shooting:)

Standing Wolf, your hunch is wrong. Hold one in your hands and you'll tell the kids they're going to have to go to a Community College.
