I was wondering if anyone has gone or goes to the Tenoroc Range in lakeland Florida?
How is it? Any opinions on the place? Prices? Can I bring my own ammo, etc?
I'll finally have some time to go, so I'm trying to get as much info as I can.

It's a pretty nice range and you can bring all of your own stuff to shoot. The prices are reasonalbe. If you pay the $132 annual membership, it costs $1 to use the range each trip. Without membership, it's $8 per trip. They also have family memberships.

They are open from Thursday to Monday, which I really like since I'm off every Friday/Saturday/Sunday. :)

Great Range, well maintained and a realy great staff.

Nice range, well run, great folks working in the shop. They have separate handgun and rifle ranges, and combat pistol classes are offered regularly.

Teneroc is on state property and there is stocked fishing there, as well. Check out http://floridafisheries.com/offices/tenoroc-home/index.html .

Also dove hunting during the season (and this area is LOUSY with doves right now!).

Wow, so much better than where I used to shoot back in NYC!
Hopefully I can make it over there sometime this week.
