aluminum bedding block ?

i have a sendero sf 338 RUM it has an aluminum bedding block my ? is the block just there or will it be glued in place.i have not had it out of the stock yet.will it be a pain in the a$$ to put back right.if i take it apart.how many inch pounds on the action screws ? ,thanks,keith

Don't worry. The bedding block is an integral part of the stock and is not a seperate piece. Torque value for the action screws is 65 inch-pounds (NOT foot-pounds).

Me thinks the torque is 45 pounds for those Remingtons. Milspec is 65 pounds but remember that they have a "steel" trigger guard whereas ours are aluminium.
