I'm a newbee, and self taught loader. I've learned more here than any books I've read, and I've got a few. I've loaded and shot 701 rounds of .357 and .44 mag (logged every one) because you guys said I should and you were right. Already I'm looking back to see what I did and this has helped me to not make a mistake.
So now I'm gonna try a load for my sig 229 .40. I've got rainer 165 gn plated FN and Alliant Blue Dot. I know its not the best comination but In these times we gotta work with what we can get. I want to start at 8.3 or 8.4 gns. What do you guys think...These will be my first loads for this cal. Thanks ... Rick
