What Kind of Forend is this??

It's definitely bigger than my Hogue. Any ideas?

That is a factory synthetic forend that comes on the regular 500 with synthetic stock (most regular 500s come with wood).
The other forend pictured is the one that comes on the home defense style 500s.

Ahh..It looked aftermarket because of the size (mine is a 500a from big 5 so it came w/ Maverick forend)

Thanks for the video. I've disassembled/reassembled 500's numerous times, but the video showed me a few tricks to get things "just right" when going back together.
