I have some Sako 7.62x39 that's marked 1973.

Anybody know if this stuff is boxer or berdan?

If you have a empty case, look in and see if there are two flash holes or one. Two means berdan. I bet that they're probably berdan.

Question is, is the ammo corrosive?

Wasn't planning on shooting it. Thinking it might be collectible. Have two 30 rnd boxes of it.

Sako makes (or did make, haven't seen any in awhile) hi$$ ammo, I'm thinking it's a collectible - specially if Sako no longer makes that one. if it's brass case likely it's berdan primered but I'm not sure.

I suspect it's actually military ammo. I haven't been able to find any mention of it on the net.
