I assume we are talking rifle cases here, not handgun. Don't think there is ever much difference in handgun cases among the various brands.

If you are just starting out, you can assume there is no difference and purchase the reasonably priced rifle brass.

There is some difference in the high end cases, generally they are more uniform from case to case. Unless you are into very, very serious bench rest competition with custom made bench rest rifles, you will not be able to tell the difference.

Trim the moderately priced cases all to the same length, de-burr and uniform the flash hole, and uniform the primer pocket and you will have cases good enough for 3/8-inch or better groups at 100 yards.

In my opinion, the cheapest bang for the buck are Remington cases when cost of acquisition and number of times it can be reloaded is taken into consideration. There is some accuracy advantage to using some of the more expensive brass but for the person satisfied 1 to 1.5 inch 100 yard groups, I doubt there would be a noticeable difference.

When working up loads, I try to stick to the same brand of brass for each batch of a particular load. If I'm trying out a particular bullet, powder, primer and charge weight, I will load one brand of brass for that test. I haven't noticed any one brand of brass being any more accurate than any other but I only shoot Win,Rem, and Fed brass and I've got a lot of each.

Does it effect the accuracy much? Not if you don't have a custom chambered match rifle to shoot it in.
