Was having some good luck at Wal-Mart yesterday, I bought two 550 packs of .22 LR, AND a half price "Do-All Outdoors The Competitor " for $15.

Of course I then spent 10 bucks on a box of clays and 22 dollars on a hundred pack of shotgun shells, but - darn it - I saved money doing it. :D

Why was the thrower half price? Also, how many clays are you getting for $10?

I have to assume that the markdown was intended to get them out of the store - there was a big stack of them that had been sitting there for at least a couple of months.

$10 bought a box of 90 clays, "American Trap highdome". I have no idea if that is a good price or not.

The clays we shoot are Northwest brand and it's $5/60. Just one of those things that you may want to shop around for. I get mine from Bimart (a northwest chain of stores).

I'm in Nacogdoches, so as far as I know, Wal-Mart is the only place in town to buy clays.

Kangspec, I think these are the same here - despite the name, the box says they were made in Italy.

Those clay throwers are evil. The only one I would consider is the One-Step.
