Ok I'm gonna type :D and Mom's gonna tell what she did today.

Well, c'mon Mom [ oh that is just a smilie to show your kidding...] First off we did some gun safety stuff with her shotgun. Then Mom maced a target with her OC about to go out of date. "Whew" was the dominant word used.:p Then Mom took her 20 ga and shot the maced target, with slugs, again "Whew big holes" :D <-- Mom's face. 3, 5,7, 10 yds. Buckshot was next, I set up some more targets, at 3, 5, 7, 10. :D <-- Mom again. Well since hot shot was doing so well I got the trap loaded up and light skeet loads. You know that look Mom's have worse than this one-->:( she missed 3 in a row. We don't have "determination smile" but insert one. "Tell you what, Cracker Barrel on me if you get the next three". Some coaching by yours truly, well she went 4 out of 5.

Wrong forum, but arthritis wasn't too bad so we shot the K frame and the 1911 style. ( easy to count her shots on a 1911, "whew" after esch shot. :)
Cost me the tab, a candle dealie ,and hard candy at Cracker Barrel. :)

Ok Mom's gonna leave, gonna walk her out...

Nice to meet you folks, and keep my boy in line. Remind my boy to pick up some more shells will you?

Ok, now she is not around, I can talk about her.:D

Ok she will soon turn 74. Growing up in the country she was a shooter, a hunter,among other things. Grandma too. In fact she (mom) her parents, and brother were all shooters...the other girl( my aunt) was too busy fussing about if the fork went on the left or right side of plate...still does.

I have the stories of grandma, before she died , and my mom shooting, teaching me to shoot while dad was away at work. When as a brat and shooting rimfire competition, I recall her using the gunny's K frame and going 6/6 popping 6" balloons from 50 yds...yeah my mom can beat your mom.:D

So with arthritis she has her own shotgun for HD. I'm the shotgun nut in the family, I get this from grandpa it seems. "You sound just like daddy did...keep focus on target...don't aim-point" . Yeah well sorry mom but grandpa and I are correct...maybe that's the real reason I had to pay for Cracker Barrel. :D

Nope mom growing up was the one( with brothers' pistol was out picking blackberries and the wild pig came at her, two shots fired, her parents run to see what is up, two shots with a .357, "Well you killed it , you drag it in and we'll help butcher it".:D She did , actually did most of the work. Blackberry cobbler had to be made, and her daddy needed to some smithin'.
