when a LE department or military division receives new shotguns, are they broken in by an armorer or instructor or are they put directly into service? what's standard procedure regarding breaking them in if done so? just curious.

Unpacked and logged into PD inventory. Detail stripped by qualified armorer(trigger mechanisms visually inspected and not disassembled in any dept. I worked for) , cleaned, lubed and reassembled. Test fired 6 to 25 times by armorer. If 0 problems noted is recleaned and lubed and stamped or vibra pencil marked as PD property and put into arms locker.

Thanks! Was just curious how it's done. Seems like they'd want to know FOR SURE a gun is service-worthy beforehand.
