After a day a the range breaking in a new Walther P-22 (mixed results) and trying out and zeroing a .17 HMR Butler Creek drop in barrel and stock on a 10/22M, I went to check out SAM's Club to see if the Starlight Cases that feedthehogs mentioned on another thread were in. I checked at another SAM's a couple of weeks ago and they weren't.

Well, THEY ARE THERE NOW! Price tag did say 'ONE TIME BUY'. Not sure if this meant they would probably be unlikely to do it again or what but to cover myself, I bought two.

I checked with my local Sams club and the manager informed me that not all stores will get them and that this is a holiday one time buy.

I called Starlite cases to find out the scoop. They seemed surprised at what SC said. That's news to them and when he asked what they were selling for, he really got a burr.

Starlite is checking with their seller to find out the details.

In the mean time I found a store an hour from me that is getting a shipment of 17. I plan to buy all 17 if I can get a hold of the shipping manager at the store before they come in.

Checked a Sam's in Dallas -- they did not have the Starlite cases, instead they had DeeZee aluminum cases on a special one time purchase. I bought one.:D

They are the double scoped rifle case with the wheels, end handle, and locking bar. Retail $210.00, at Sam's $117.

The Brookpark, OH and Parkersburg, WV (were I got my Starlites) also has Alumamax aluminum two gun cases. (Bought another Starlite last nite.)
