What exactly is the Mossberg 50516. Is it just a version of the 500? I saw that Bud's had some on sale and I still need to pick up a shotgun. I think they're going for 289.
I tried to search around for that model number but all I got was a bunch of links to the Bud's website. On the Mossberg website I couldn't find that exact model number.
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

From the Bud's site, looks like a standard 18" barrel Model 500 with synthetic stocks, heat-shield (useless) and extra pistol-grip (useless) thrown in.

So it's basically just a standard 500 with 18" barrel? If so, sounds good to me.

For some reason, on Bud's site, the model 50411 with no PGO stock or heat-shield is listed for $310.

The model 50521 with no heat-shield, but with the extra PGO stock thrown in is $267. I'd get that one and put the PG on ebay or craigslist. Sold my PG that came with my SG to a Mall Ninja for $20. True story. :evil:
