Feedback on the NAA "The Earl" revolver?

We may be getting a legal version of The Earl coming to Canada. In drooling anticipation of this I'd love to hear if any of you here have one of them and if so how you like it.
In particular how is the trigger pull on the little exposed trigger? I've shot a buddy's little derringer that has the same style of trigger and I see why his gun doesn't need a safety. A 20 something pound trigger pull is safety enough... :D If The Earl shares this trait I'm thinking I'll pass. But if it's a sweet and decent plinker I'd love to hear about it.

Actually, it should use the same trigger mechanism as the other NAA revolvers, which have quite light single action triggers. I have the 1-5/8 inch barrel 22 mag version and it is great. The safety is the "notch" that is used to place the hammer in between the cylinders when it not intended to fire. To fire, just pull the hammer back and pull the trigger.
The "Earl" looks interesting. While the short barrel versions are normally intended for use at pretty short ranges, like 5-25 feet, the "Earl" should be quite accurate with the long barrel. I have seen videos of a guy with a "Black Widow" version shooting balloons from at least 100 feet away. They are really amazing little guns. I love mine.

Mine has agood trigger pull and really does a number on mutant zombie ground squirrels, using magnum shotshells.

Thanks for the info guys. Also on the thread about these on the other forum they had a link to that video of the guy shooting balloons at 100 feet with an NAA Black Widow so yeah, they are plenty accurate enough for plinking.

They're a novelty in my opinion. I have the l.r. and the magnum. I've killed a snake with my magnum (which was a pretty good shot if I do say so myself), but I find them mostly useless.

They are far from novelty. These Earls are 4" barreled single actions that are very well made and power wise are on par with any other single action revolver chambered in .22 Mag like Ruger etc
. You also get a benefit of having this in a very compact package. Get it, you won't regret it.
