I searched, but couldn't find anything here about the FN SLP tri-rail http://www.fnhusa.com/le/products/firearms/model.asp?mid=FNM0143&cid=FNC02&gid=FNG016&fid=FNF052 advertised on the FN site.

I've done web searches, and have only come across several mentions that you cannot get these.

What gives? I sure would like to mount a light on my SLP. I am a little picky, though. I want it "side mount", not under the magazine. This product seems to be the cat's meow. Ufortunately, it seems that the only thing that exists are pictures of the item, not the item itself. (Which begs the question, how did they take a picture of something that doesn't exist?)

Anyone have any suggestions? No doubt, my fellow high-roaders reliably come through with some great ideas. I'm waiting with bated breath!

The SLP tri rail is not in production just yet. Keep waiting :)

There was someone either here or on TFL or shotgun world that had new rail clamps coming out that had 1,2, and 3 accessory setups - supposedly had a patent-pending device. The pics were very neat, CNC aluminum

Dave at FN told me last week that they have the rails, they're just waiting on pricing and packaging. He didn't give a timeline, however.

I didn't do anything to my SLP except upgrade the charging handle and follower but I would like to be able to mount a light.
