What a Great Welcome.To answer some of your questions about different firearms,ak vs ar-15,9mm vs 45.223 vs .308.I own at least one of them and it just depends how I feel before I go to range on what I shoot.If it is long range I use my .308. just plinking I use a sks or ak-47.
Hope that helps. I do love shooting the Colt acp.for slow fire.
