I just compared my new 642 with the picture of yours. On yours, it looks like the sight ramp goes all the way to the frame. In other words, it covers the whole length of the barrel. My sight ramp stops about 1/4 inch from the frame. Is it just the photo, or is it really that way?

Mine stops 1/4 " from frame also.
I use a cheap digital re-built camera.
Save the money for revolvers!:D
