I took this pic when I was visiting my son at West Point a couple of weeks ago.

If you're interested in seeing all of the pics I took that day, look here (http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3282).
There's also a series that I took in West Point's cemetery here (http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2716).

Been there, but only got to spend 1 miserable hour there. My friend's 4 year old daughter was bored and dragged me out. If I only had a valium. ;)
Anyway, just wrote to that museum last week asking for photos of two of their guns.

Which two did you want - or were you trying to get professional photos?

Here's another unusual one I photographed, a T-48 (US-made FAL that competed against the M14):

I wrote them about a month ago about some guns in their collections. I'd like to have pictures of some guns but they haven't written back. :(

BTW cookie, I wanted the German jager rifle from the Revolution and their American Wall gun from the same time period. I understand that they also have a British 1776 pattern rifle and some Civil War arms. Photos have to be book quality for my book project.

I added a bunch more pictures (that I took this week) earlier today. Here's a sample:

You can see the rest here (http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3282). The new ones are at the bottom of the page of course.

You're certainly welcome. I took dozens of pics, and will try to keep everyone updated as I add them. I think I should apply for a job as janitor there. :)
