ML, you don't have to apologize for the poll. We have to do everything we can to convince the anti's and the fence sitters that we are in the majority. That means using the polls even though the media claims they aren't scientific. That may be true but if we lose a poll, you can believe it will be discussed on the next media segment.
And we can use the poll to judge just how many people are really interested in their gun Rights. There are people who claim they want to fight Civil War II but complain they can't use a mouse on a screen to vote or they have to throw away an envelope they get in the mail from a gun group.

Of course not. Don't you know that "self-selected Internet polls are meaningless and unscientific"?

But what it does accomplish is keeping the anti-news outlets from publishing their "interesting" results should the poll not go our way. It also lets them know that pro-carry forces are organized, energized, and watching. And it demoralizes anti's who see the results, and it helps us capture the eyes of the fence-sitter, and the occasional isolated pro-carry person who's not in the loop as to how close we are.
