Replacing Glock front sight

I've done about everything to a Glock except replace sights. How difficult is it to simply replace the front sight on a G26?

I have the parts and just want to replace the stock front sight with a stock front sight. The original is finally getting a little rounded.

I hesitate to mess with it this week, as I'm shooting it in a GSSF match in Lexington Saturday, but it looks pretty simple to replace. Just don't want to lose my front sight in the first stage.

Thanks,

Just grab the old sight with a plier and pull it out. It will come out pretty easily.

Take the new sight and put it in place, then push the wedge up into the slot in the sight post. Walla, you are done. 2 minutes tops and if you are like me a full minute is looking for the pliers.

Thanks, I guess without having it off, it's just hard to imagine it being that simple in design. Guess I should know better, since it's a Glock. Gaston thought of everything.
