Thanks. Watching Tombstone at the moment and heard an appropriate quote:

"I have two guns, one for each of ya"

Yeah... looking at the pictures I couldnt tell if it was .40 ball or a HP 9mm.

im guessing on caliber if it was a 9mm the rounds would be same width as the 380 ones

Definitely .40:

The rounds are bigger than the .380's so not a 9c.

The 45c is a bit bigger, doesn't have a slide billboard and only holds 8 rounds.

Nice pair of firearms. And, you know it isn't going to stop with just those two don't ya? The GBSG (Gun Buyers Support Group) meets the third Thursday of the month to discuss our addiction. Welcome aboard.

Memphis Jim is correct. It's the smith and Wesson M&P 40 Compact and a Ruger LCP .380. Both are great pistols. Took them for a test run today and ran 100 rounds through each. The SW is AMAZINGLY accurate and the LCP is surprisingly comfortable to shoot despite it's small size.

.40 in a compact is rather snappy, and after 10 rds of .380 in P3AT, I knew is wasn't for me. Gotta hand it to you for perseverance for 100 rds each in one session!

I've got the M&Pc in 9mm and just added the M&P standard 9mm. I REALLY like those M&P and shot a friends .45 M&P recently. All good! I like 9mm b/c I can buy more guns with what I save on the less expensie ammo.

Congrats and welcome. Good to see you've started with some quality. I've never fired either of those, but their reputation is great.

If you're not careful they will mate and multiply
