Does anyone have experience with the new production .303? I'm looking for reasonably priced plinking ammo with good accuracy. Also, should I ever start handloading, which brand provides good brass? I've only shot South African and Yugo surplus to date (SA being more accurate in my No. 4).

I'm currently looking at Hotshot, PMP, UMC, FNM, S&B, and Igman. What kind of feedback have you heard about these different brands? I understand that different rifles like different ammo--I'm just wondering about overall consistency and quality of the ammo.

Thanks in advance. :)

They seem to like HotShot and PMP from Century.

I'm picking up a little of both for my soon to arrive No.5mk1.

My Enfields love the PMP. I consistantly get 2-inch groups out of it. PMP is commercial SA.

I use PMC on both my rifles. good stuff. little on the expensive side, though.

Okay, seeing as how my No. 4 likes the SA, I'm ordering a case of the PMP from Century.

Also ordering four cases of Yugo 8mm from them. Shipping is $12.50 for all 2900 rounds.

(Best Neo voice): "Whoa." :what:

when did century start charging shipping? that was one of the major reasons to order through them...no additional shipping charges. the only snag is the grumbling the UPS guy did when he had to unload the 5K 7.62x51mm rounds in one order.

the PMP is reaslly nice and comes in the retail packaging with nice antelope on the box...the brass is reloadable and very nice quality

Sorry. It's an "Order Processing Fee" of $12.50 for orders under $500.
