batteries are dead in it right now but, It is truely the most kick asz light I own. Mine was a gift but if I knew how good they were I would have bought one a long time ago.

I Love high out put LED's. I bet that is on sweet little hummer!

That looks sweet. I would like to see one and preferably use one. It is almost enough to get me to buy a handgun with a rail, but not quite.

They are making significant strides in LED lights. I have the LED head for my E1 and it is pretty darn bright. Not as bright as the same light with a bulb, but close. I don't see them making anything in the near future that will compete with my M910A, but ...............

Silly Skunky, that's for people with tactical guns like mine!:D

Skunk, what do you think...for my Expert, fullsize or compact?

Skunkabilly

10-ring that's easy.
Millenium system for the Expert,
Nitrolon system for the Fullsize,
X200 for the Compact

I wonder what it'll be like to carry one of these things on a full-size 1911 IWB.... :scrutiny:

SureFire says that right now it will not fit the HK USP series - Paul is working on an adaptor for it and the Sig Pro though. Out of the box it will fit all rail equipped Glocks, Kimbers, Beretta Vertec, Springfield XD and TRP Operators. It will come with a rail to picatinny adaptor.

60 lumen output with momentary or constant on. 30m waterproof.

December ETA - I ordered 50 to anticipate for the rush.

So Spark-

Since you ordered 50, which I assume means you're a dealer...what's the MSRP?

Spark

MSRP is $195. Street price will be considerably lower. Anyhow, don't scoff at 60 lumens - there's nothing wrong with that much light - it's bright enough to positively ID the target and then some. It's going to be hellacool

Depends on the range. I had my L4 and E2E outside last night and at 17 yards the E2E was acceptable, the L4 was not. The LED just doesn't have the throw. Inside, yes the 65 lumens with the whiter-than-white LED light is sufficient.

Even Surefire has said that 60 is the bare minimum for defensive use. "Bare minimum" just doesn't get me excited like 225 lumens from my M3 HOLA, or even 125 from my C2 HOLA. The x200 housing looks great though!

I wonder how Streamlight is getting 125 lumens for an hour from their M3X?

If you own a GLOCK they make their own firearm light, available for around $75 dollars. It's not quite as nice as the SF, but it works just fine and is 1/2 the price.

great light for indoor usage with a handgun, and what would you be doing shooting at someone 50yds away at night with a hg anyway?

Broader light with less of a defined hotspot means less bounce back from you refrigerator/tv/mirror and more light in the dark corners where his buddy may be.

when they get a little field use and build one that is 60/120 i'll have a new light on my AR.

They do, but you have to switch lamps to do so (I don't think they have a duel lamp yet)

TBO, You mean that they have a 120 lumen LED light?

:cuss: dial-up!

I'm with dwestfall-who originally sent me the link to Surefire (outskunked again!) but I decided to be a thunderthief (one who steals thunder) and post this before he did...

I want my big bright light that goes far far away. I toyed w/ the idea of getting the light to carry it IWB on a big gun, but LEDs just don't go far enough for my tastes. For me, LEDs should complement the bright light, not replace it. But that's just me. Now something like the A2, that has little LEDs for not completely ruining your nightvision, but have a big bright light for when you need the range, would be
