On Scene Tactical: Dealt with them?

I contacted Eric a few months ago about putting together a holder for my surefire 6P and a magazine holder. The the flashlight rig is a standard item of his, but the mag holder was to be a one-off item that I really wanted. Judging by the looks of his kydex knife sheaths, he's definitely the man for the job.

Anyhow, I haven't heard a peep from him since August. He mentioned hurting his hand and having production slowed because of it, but the delivery date was Sept/Oct, with no hurry on my part. I've sent two emails but not received a reply and was wondering if he's alright. I'm ready to send a check if he's ready to receive it.

Anyone heard if he's doing alright? Have you seen his work firsthand? I'd like to get him to make a sheath for my CRKT Ryan Plan B if he can.

Any other artists out there willing/able to do good work in kydex?

I've dealt with him in the past he does very nice work. He is a little slow to return emails and his work slightly delayed. If you are patient his work is well worth it and he is nice to deal with. That said, I'm waiting for him to return one of my emails from 2 weeks ago...

Thanks for the headsup, Lurker. He seemed like a really professional fella from his emails, but I'm concerned when I don't hear back from someone in a business transaction. Salt on the wound.....I'm scheduled to return to NC next month for my firearms requalification and really would like to have my gear on and tested before that happens. I don't need it, but it sure would be nice to have.
