I picked up a Colt signature series 1860 Army real cheap from a friend needing some cash , knowing that it was'nt working properly.I took apart and found the bolt broken , so I ordered a replacement from DGW but I have'nt been able to make it work after some minimal fitting. I do'nt have any history with C+B revolvers or gunsmithing . So I'm looking for suggestions or perhaps a gunsmith who works on C+B pistols, all the ones local to me do'nt know anything about blackpowder firearms . Thanks in advance
I live in the Richmond , Virginia area

Fitting the bolt requires experience as it controls barrel to cylinder alignment. go to voy (http://www.voy.com/60048/) and ask for "rifle" He is not that far from you and does excellent work.
