I need a 3" stainless barrel for my GP100. Anybody have an idea where I can find one?

Ruger parts/service department.

Give them a call and arrange to send them the gun and have the new barrel fitted.

It's not a DIY project to change a revolver barrel.

I called Ruger, they want to charge me more than I paid for the revolver. I would rather find the barrel and send it to Gemini and have other work done at the same time.

in `84 i tried to get a shorter barrel on a speed six they said no& no to sellin me one .

maybe things have changed in 25 yrs.

I think you would have more luck looking for a 3" GP100. It'll cost you that much in install and finding a barrel.

Been thinking about getting my barrel replaced with one of the new 4.2" barrels. I might move their eventually and I want my gun to be legal in Canada. I was actually thinking of getting my barrel replaced before the end of the year.
