How much is a black senthetic Remington 870 express magnum with a bird barrel with a full and modified choke, and a slug barrel. It shoots 2 3\4 and 3 inch rounds. It's only had maybe 300 shells through it, and not even a year old.

Retail .... $250 - $275, if it's in pristine condition.

I would prob give around $250 for it considering the extra chokes and barrels. Maybe close to $300 if it is excellent condition no scratches and no rust spots.

Wow! I paid $750.00 for it not even a year ago...

Not worries man, you only paid ~250% more than you should have.

Then perhaps we don't know what you -actually- have then.
My blue book shows a 100% value (basically, unfired NIB) for the Black Synthetic Remington 870 at $300.
It also shows that the Model 870 Express Synthetic was discontinued in 2005, but it's still quite possible to buy it new 3 years later. There are not -any- express models listed at any where near what you paid.
Sorry.

The gun, with one barrel, is worth $250 or so. Add another $100 or so for the second barrel.
You paid too much for the gun, but we all have at some point.

I'll just keep her. Still a great slug gun.

Might I suggest never, ever visiting the shop that bent you over the barrel for that 870 again?
As others mentioned, we all get taken on a purchase now and then, but damn. You've gotta be a cold-hearted SOB to overcharge someone like that and still sleep at night.
