530 and the Mini-Griptillian. 530 has the lowest weight for length of my collection. Mini-grip of course has a phenomenal operation and comfort of grip.

960 Osborne. Stunning good looks, flawless operation.

But it's the only Benchmade I've ever owned, so I don't really have any valid comparison against their other models. :)

940 Osborne and 710.

I've got a Grip, 2 Mini-grips, and a benchmite II, all are pretty good. I like the idea of the Nagara, and it got good reviews, but I just can't love those blue titanium handles. If they were grey or black, I would have one in my pocket right now though.

If I had to pick just one, I would say the mini-grip with the thumb stud, plain edge is my favorite.

800 series overall. Most recently 806-901 in plain edge. Close runner up would be the 970/975 series.

My 941-BC1 is the standout from the dozen that I own. It's just classy.

I have a Vex, an Ambush and a Monochrome. They are all Red Class knives meaning they are made in Taiwan for Benchmade. They are good knives for their price. Out of the three I prefer the Vex because it has a Spyderco style thumbhole. I am more of a Spyderco fan so I guess that explains why I prefer the Vex.

I only have one, a smooth edge mini griptilian. I bought it less than a year ago and it immediately became my edc. Gets sharp and stays that way. I am truly impressed and would like an osborne one of these days. My wife has a spyderco rescue that is indeed an excellent knife but side by side I prefer my mini grip.

I have several and like the full size Skirmish the best.. but I like a bigger knife. The mini grip is a great small edc

I like the mini grip so much I've bought a lifetime supply of them. Every year I add a couple more to the collection "just in case". Meanwhile, the original one I purchased several years back continues to serve me just fine.

I've been very happy with the full sized Griptillian I've been carrying for the last few years. Happy enough with it that I thought for a while about getting one of the fixed blade Griptillians to keep on my body armor as well (though then got a deal on a used smaller Strider that made it a moot point).

tmpick, what type of grips do you like? 1/2 and 1/2 edge? Thumb screw or thumb hole?

I have carried a Benchmade Emerson CQC7 Spec War for over a decade now. On my current deployment, I wanted something larger so I picked up the Emerson Super CQC7 (bigger version) with the Wave feature. Benchmade knives are top quality - I also have one of their spring assisted models.

I have been packing 722 (pre-production 880/1000) for over 10 years and every time I use it I think I like it even more. I have a mini auto stryker and its a good knife just not as comfy to carry as the 722.

I want an osborne and an opertunist

I believe the scales are Zytel, a glass-reinforced resin. I prefer the plain edge with the thumb stud. I bought the one I use daily a while back, and the blade is 440C steel. The newer ones use 154CM, and Cabela's has some with D2 blades. The thumb stud opens the blade as quick as an automatic, and I think it's easier to close. I uploaded a video to show how quick it really is.

That's 4 or 5 years of carry and use. Not too shabby, but I don't abuse it much.

Probably my favorite is the 630 (fullsize Skirmish).

Tmpick thats a good looking grippy, I have been kicking around getting the one form cables with the D2 blade. Love the axis lock.

My favorite is the BM 32, Morpho. Perfect sized user, for me. And the D2 blade steel takes on a wicked sharp edge.

I like my Grip 501 (I think). It's the blade with the hole as opposed to a stud and has the modified sheepsfoot blade. I find that particular blade shape to be extremely useful, to the extent it has kind of ruined me for other Benchmades.

That Grip and my Spyderco Endura are the two knives I rotate between.

Either the full size grip or mini-grip, strong lock up, great knives!

I would have said my hatchday present last month was 'it' - a new 710D2. Then - I had to spend some hatchday income on a new 760BL LTi. Of course, I hate 'tanto' blades - and that's the Bob Lum special. Wow - what a keeper - I was shocked! Hard to decide - so here are both:

Mini Ruckus. It's the only Benchmade I own. I don't carry it much because its larger and heavier than the Spyderco Endura I carry every day.

Benchmade Instigator. Even if it is illegal to carry in NC.

My favorite benchmades are the 710d2 and the 350.

I bought a 670 Apparition not expecting to like it very much, but it has become a favorite and sees a lot of pocket time.
