does anyone know where to get pair of boot grips for a ruger speed six. i have a pair of eagle secret service grips for my s&w m13 but they no longer make them for the speed six. i have the oversize pachmayr round grips that i don't really care for. thanks.

Here ya go.

They used to do a little custom work for extra $, like thinning their wood boot (Bantam) grip for a J frame.
They might work with you on your Speed 6.

It's getting harder to find decent aftermarket grips for the Speed Six (or any of the Six series). I have been very pleased with a set of Herrett's Shooting Stars that I got off of an auction site. While they are not boot grips, thay do have an open backstrap making them less bulky than the Pachmayr Professional grips. The Pachmayr Compac Professional does has an open backstrap, but I've never been happy with how they fit; with a little reduction work (http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=52623&sid=e3b7c8073a98400ac54c3ea779db647a) work, the Shooting Stars can be trimmed down and will (IMO) have a better fit:
