Ok, Deer season has started all over SC. My game zone (5) has bow hunting in right now, and gun season season starts on Sept 1st, game zone 4 is right next to me, and part of my property crosses over into game zone 4 who's gun season doesn't start until the 15th of Sept. (which is where all my other stands are in different cities). Say I shot a deer in game zone 4, would this pose a problem? Most of the property is in zone 5.

are you asking if its legal? if you shoot a deer on game zone 4 before the 15th then you are breaking the law.

From what I understand, and solely based on my limited hunting experience in SC, if any part of the property is in the earlier game zone, then it is all considered to be in that game zone. I encourage you to check that with your local game officer though.

It should be clearly spelled out - if not in the SC regulations, then in the SC code.
