Has anybody noticed the difference in the Winchester SX3 Walnut Field gun compared to the other SX3's?? It seems that the fore-end is larger/bulky and more awkward when compared to the rest of the SX3's?? Anybody know why Winchester did this with just the Walnut version of the SX3?? Maybe I'm on crack and there is no difference

Sure looks like there's a difference. Whether or not you like a fat fore-end is personal preference. If you want a really sleek walnut gas autoloader, look at the 391 instead. Cabela's has an ultralight version on sale right now, as well. Nice gun, and I believe a tad cheaper than the SX3.
