Vaquero or Beretta Stampede?

I'm looking at both of these in .45 colt. I own several Ruger revolvers and love them. Tough, accurate guns. However, sometimes variety is nice. I've never shot a Beretta revolver, but am thoroughly impressed with their shotguns and .9 mm. Plus, the Beretta looks really cool, and I'm not embarrassed to say it.
Any reason not to take the Beretta plunge here?

The Beretta is made by Uberti (now owned by Beretta). Uberti makes great replicas.
Though it has a transfer bar, it's much closer to a Colt clone than the Vaquero.
Depends on what you want.

I own a stampede in .357 and have no complaints, feels very nice in the hand and shoots where you aim it. At first when I shot .357 in it the screws would tend to lossen up a bit, but a little lock tite fixed it. Good gun, I say get it.

I have a Vaquero in .357 and love it, shoots where I point which is a good thing. Sooo I must vote for the Ruger,I own several Ruger revolvers and love them. Tough, accurate guns. If you are having success with the Rugers why change? USA made, impeccable service, just damn good guns. My .02

Maybe he wants to hear those wonderful four clicks....I know I do. :(
If only the Vaquero's had them they'd be perfect.

I've got two of the original Vaquero's in 44 mag. They both have had action work including the hammer cut to work like a Colt with the 4 clicks. The trigger is set back making it look more like a Colt also. Pair of Eagle Gunfighter grips on both of them. I use them for cowboy action shooting of course. I just got one of the Ruger Flattop 44 specials. I'm going to have to get some work done on it too. Mark:D
