For those of you who have either handled/shot or own/owned both, what are the differences and similarities?

I have the the DA/SA P99 and really liked the short trigger reset & how well it pointed for me. I haven't even seen a P2000 but I have shot a USPc 40 LEM and really liked it. Being that I didn't shoot the two side-by-side, it's tough to say which would be nicer, but I wouldn't mind having either a P99 or a P2000 ;)

Thanks 10-Ring.
I was hoping someone has had experience with the P99 QA and P2000 because both share DAO triggers. I'm interested in comparing things like trigger reset, creep, pull weight, pull length etc.

I've handled both but shot neither... Although it's been a while since I've handled the P99QA, my impression was that the trigger was glockish with more stack. It had a heavier, shorter pull than the P2000. The P2000 trigger pull is longer but quite a bit lighter and more consistant. The P2000 has the best trigger pull I've ever found on a DAO pistol without a doubt! The feel is somewhat similar to the first pull on the Para Ordinance LDA system. Very awesome pistol (and some of the most expensive plastic int the world!). The H&K fits MY hand much better than the Walther... YMMV.
