First post here. Sorry if is not the correct venue. I have a sig556 folding stock and would like to make it a fixed stock. Is there a good way to do this? I live in Kali. Thank you.

The folding stock is the least of your worries.

See this about that:

Sig556 has "bullet button"- I guess the issue is: If I fix the stock so that it cannot be folded, 1) will it pass muster, and 2) how to do it in an acceptable way. Thank you.

If you have a SIG 556 Classic with the "Swiss style" folding stock, I suggest you contact LAN World, Inc. (http://www.lanworldinc.com/SIGSAUER.htm) in regards to CA compliant modifications or try to acquire a non classic lower (you can swap out folding and fixed stocks (http://www.sigarms556.com/viewtopic.php?t=4272) on these :)). You might find someone on the linked forums that would be interested in trading lowers.
Regards,
Greg
