30 cal ammo cans, pic heavy

Today I received 4 cans of HXP M2 30-06 from the CMP. One was HXP-80 and three were HXP-78. I noticed for the first time the HXP-80 ammo can says Sapahellas on it? I've never seen this before and really don't pay much attention to ammo cans other than overall condition. Plus the seam in the back looks nicer also.

The ammo is nice too.
I really love the lot number on the HXP-78 can, 4077.;)

MP7 your guess is as good as mine. The ammo(HXP headstamp)is greek.

I'm looking at a bandolier of the HXP 124 lot myself. Thinking about popping off some tonight!

That stock looks pristine...any treatments to do to it or is it good to go as is?

The CMP puts one coat of BLO on it. I'm going to stain it red chestnut or something close to that. I love that redish look of the aged walnut stocks.
The problem is the stain gets darker when I apply the tung oil after staining.

Don't stain the walnut.
