Eastern Arms - Trade name used by Iver Johnson on shotguns and other firearms made for Sears & Roebuck in the 20-30's or so.

Eastern Arms is listed in The Standard Catalog of Firearms as being Iver Johnson, however the odds are your shotgun is in reality a Meridan ( Sears and Roebucks had a financial holding in Meridan). Iver Johnson only sold one batch of single barrel shotguns to Sears in 1901. In 1904 Fred Johnson sued Sears ( and won ) for violation of their franchise agreement. the only Iver Johnson's ( no handguns ) sold by Sears were those in inventory. Hence, nevermore did Sears sell Iver Johnson firearms.:)
