Hey guys, I need a little help here.
I have been tasked with giving a 15 minute lecture about Firearms / Hunting Safety as part of a pre-holiday safety brief for members of the command where I am stationed. One thing I would like to lead off with is the number of firearms accidents in this country (which, IIRC, has actually been on the decrease). I can, of course, find a lot of "statistics" from "Violence Policy Center / Anti-Gun" organizations, etc., but I believe them to be very inflated and aimed towards supporting their own mis-guided agenda. So, with these items in mind, can anyone point me towards any reliable sources for:
Firearms related accidents / injuries by years, same data for children, Hunter accidents, any other lecture material along this topic line would be helpful. Need stuff from reliable, solid sources.
Thanks!
Chris

Hey thanks!, that CDC site was perfect, now where can I find a valid number on firearms ownership?
