I like the Lee trimming system. For those not familiar.

However, I've purchased two of the holders now, and both have been horribly out spec. The cartridge walks all over the place. What the hell? Two in a row like that. I am not talking just a little bit. Way too much.

Are they all like that?

Yep, with the Lee case trimmers you've got to tighten the nut a bit to keep the case from waltzing around. Good inexpensive system though. I use mine with the base inserted into a powered screwdriver.

I hope that Lee is the one that's paying to return them to the factory?

The brass case is more likely the problem then the holder. Brass not sized square with the FLRS die. Out of spec. die. Or the bolt face is not square to the chamber. Just a guess.

No it's the holder. You can see it wobble around without a piece of brass on it.

Get the universal chuck. I think it's much better. My .223 case holder would never stay tight through a trim and inside/outside camfer of one case.
