They have a certain list you can choose from, but not that many choices in each caliber.
They could have done better on the selection in my opinion.

Anything over two months waiting is ridiculous, if you are doing a promo, do it in a timely manner that is promised 6-8 weeks I was told. I mean, they make the fricken bullets!
greatthosu, did you give them a call?

If you hadn't I would call for sure.
I called this morning and the CS lady told me it was 10 to 12 weeks on average. Mine went in the mail today.

The offer: http://www.hornady.com/get_loaded.php
It takes a while to get them depending on where in their order fulfillment process you submitted your redemption form. They told me early this summer they were filling redemptions before dealer orders.
Be patient--they're great bullets. They aren't plinking rounds, at least not the .45ACP I received.
It's a good reason, IMO, to buy Hornady dies and other equipment.
I got 1000 of the 230gr .45 bullets from last year's offer (this year is 185gr). They were remarkably accurate.
I don't shoot 'em, they're in my SHTF cache.

That is the prime reason why Hornady sucks! Their fill time on orders, and their general fill rate on orders is 10 percent. Now, several of their case prep centers have known issues like not being machined right! Sheesh!

I sent my form in this past January and got my bullets last week only because I sent Hornady an e-mail asking where my bullets were.

My first rebate of 1K 30cal in 2007 took ~ 4 weeks.
Last one for 100 270cal was a bit longer in Jan 2009. The 22,9,40,45 stuff will take longer due to vacuum created in Nov 2008. Free bullets still providing preimium pills for hunting ammo for the next 5 years or more.
Would have purchased the LNL-AP press regardless. Counting the free pills with the die sets.... It never had a cost.
