http://www.thbookservice.com/BookPage.asp?prod_cd=c6230Order today and be among the first to own the Ann Coulter Talking Action Figure when they ship in early November
http://www.eaglepublishinginc.com/images/Ann-Flag-5.jpg Amuse your conservative friends and annoy your liberal neighbors with the brand new Ann Coulter Talking Action Figure. This incredibly lifelike action figure looks just like the beautiful Ann Coulter, and best of all . . . it sounds like Ann, too! Ann recorded these classic Coulter sayings especially for this action figure.
Push the button on the figure, and you'll hear such "Coulterisms" as:
"Liberals can't just come out and say they want to take more of our money, kill babies, and discriminate on the basis of race."
"At least when right-wingers rant, there's a point."
"Swing voters are more appropriately known as the 'idiot voters' because they have no set of philosophical principles. By the age of fourteen, you're either a Conservative or a Liberal if you have an IQ above a toaster."
"Why not go to war just for oil? We need oil. What do Hollywood celebrities imagine fuels their private jets? How do they think their cocaine is delivered to them?"
"Liberals hate America, they hate flag-wavers, they hate abortion opponents, they hate all religions except Islam, post 9/11. Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like Liberals do. They don't have the energy. If they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now."
This highly collectible doll comes in a display box with information highlighting Ann's unique contributions to America's political discourse. If you can't get enough Ann Coulter, you'll want to order the Ann Coulter Talking Action Figure today!
Don't forget to order replacement batteries!

As a little "L" libertarian and sometimes a tad guilty of being of the cafeteria persuasion, I'm not totally qualified to comment, but I'm not that upset. :D
The two major parties are like clocks.
My feeling is Conservatives are like a completely busted clock. At least they're right twice a day...
Liberals? Perpetually five minutes slow by my estimation.

What an interesting statement, considering that Coulter was talking about voters with principles, and small-"l" libertarians tend not to let theirs be compromised by the color of a candidate's bunting.
"Oh, I know he's not really all that pro-gun, but he's better than the other guy."
Oh, yeah, baby, those are some rock-ribbed principles! The party of John McCain and Tom Ridge wouldn't know a "principle" if it got bit on the butt by one.
 back atcha. ;)

Given that the Libertarians kicked out Stanley, they are indeed the parry of Rick Stanley ;)
Democrats: The party of Janet "Burn The Children" Reno and Jesse "Hymietown" Jackson. ;)

I credit Ms. Coulter for having built herself into quite a business, but she's really irritating.

To which of those two mainstream parties did Sarah Brady claim membership? She was a Republican, though she long ago left the party and calls herself an independent. FWIW, She addressed the National Democratic Convention in 1996.

where's the adam's apple? is there a scar under the skirt from the operation?
I rarely fault people for being successful and going out to make a ton of money but Anne's pandering is pretty low. It's like dirty money when you totally sully the political discourse of a great country just for entertainment and money.
But I do get a evil chuckle from her ability to denigrate sometimes plus it brings in votes for the party. The Dems have welfare checks for their dregs of society and we have Coulter for ours.

Democrats: The party of Slick Willy, Hillary the Witch, Chuck Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, Dick Gephardt, Al Gore, Janet Reno, Ted Kennedy, Tom Foley, John Kerry, Joe Liebermann, Carolyn McCarthy, et cetera, ad nauseum...
Try and paint the Democrats as pro-gun if you wish, it just make you look like a liar or a dupe, one...
You want to keep playing the equivalence game, that'll be fine with me.
One party may be spineless on the gun rights issue, but the other (the one you root for) is pure frickin' kryptonite for freedom.

This is supposed to be funny.

That sounds about right.
As for Ann... funny how Democrats make fun of her looks. It isn't like Alan Colmes is going to be showing up in "Playgirl" anytime soon or anything.
"Look under the staple..."
:D
Anyway, she's nothing but Republican-flavored entertainment in my book. But better that then to be bored by a Democrat.

If anyone likes Ann Coulter, dont go to DU. They call her every thing but nice, honest, civilized, and celibate.
Good doll though. It is kinda funny. I need to find a "hysterical laughing" smiley (with it beating its fists on the ground while lauging and crying) for that oil quote.:D

I'll address your complaints and mine, just give me a little time here.
OK:
1. The doll doesn't do her justice. They got the hair wrong. The face on the doll doesn't even look human, let alone like Miss Coulter. The doll has boy shoulders and snake hips; Miss C may be skinny, but she is fundamentally a woman.
2. Pellet gun? Maybe the photo was taken in a place where it's against the law to shoot actual firearms from one's back porch, and she was obeying the law. At least she seemed to be holding the piece correctly and appeared to be having a good time.
3. My SO may shoot me for writing this, but I find Ann C. both physically and intellectually attractive; my greatest disappointment on looking at the pictures on her Web site was finding that the closest thing to naked pictures of her was a glimpse of her armpit.
P.S. For those of you with recent public-school "educations" , the word "fundamentally" refers to the concepts, or ideas, of foundations, or bottoms.

I'll give her this: she may be kinda shrill, but she's a bazillion times wittier and more entertaining than Rush Limbaugh.
She ain't worthy to carry Florence King's thesaurus, though... ;)

...LBJ, FDR, Ted Kennedy, NFA '34, GCA '68, the BATF, Jimmy Carter, double-digit inflation, Social (in)Security, bussing, Bill Clinton, Janet Reno... I could go on and on.
Try and convince yourself that black is white if it makes you feel better, though.
(Oh, and about "The Drug War" being a republican thing, you may wish to find out how long its been going on. ;) The Bureau of Narcotics was around a long, long time before Nixon. Neither party is really very big on your freedom. Actually, the GOP does seem somewhat concerned with your freedom, while the Dems would rather cut off your military aid.)

Mirco,
You're being pretty juvenille here, engaging in nothing more than collective generalizations. Would it be accurate to describe Israelis as "the people of Ariel Sharon"?
Republicans are also the party of Ron Paul and Barry Goldwater.

No, more like showing off your knowledge of the American political scene and history.
Sometimes you do provide refreshing reminders of your age and locale. ;)

Not all zebras have black stripes, either. (But if someone tells you he's going to show you a picture of a zebra, you'd be pretty safe betting on the colouration. :scrutiny: )

Micro,
Didn't you just post an article about the PROTECT Act, introduced by Biden, a Dem? http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47523
As for guns ... from the 2000 Democratic National Platform
<snip>
They stood up to the gun lobby, to pass the Brady Bill and ban deadly assault weapons - and stopped nearly half a million felons, fugitives, and stalkers from buying guns. They fought for and won the biggest anti-drug budgets in history, every single year.
<snip>
Strong and Sensible Gun Laws. A shocking level of gun violence on our streets and in our schools has shown America the need to keep guns away from those who shouldn't have them - in ways that respect the rights of hunters, sportsmen, and legitimate gun owners. The Columbine tragedy struck America's heart, but in its wake Republicans have done nothing to keep guns away from those who should not have them.
Democrats believe that we should fight gun crime on all fronts - with stronger laws and stronger enforcement. That's why Democrats fought and passed the Brady Law and the Assault Weapons Ban. We increased federal, state, and local gun crime prosecution by 22 percent since 1992. Now gun crime is down by 35 percent.
Now we must do even more. We need mandatory child safety locks, to protect our children. We should require a photo license I.D., a full background check, and a gun safety test to buy a new handgun in America. We support more federal gun prosecutors, ATF agents and inspectors, and giving states and communities another 10,000 prosecutors to fight gun crime.
Oh, and btw (re another thread), the kibutzes were not communist, they were communal. ;)

Orthonym, you KNOW that given the cost of dies, they just use a standard Barbie body for the Ann Coulter doll.
Just like they use the Pro Wrestler body for the Rosie O'Donell dolls (also used for GI Joe Evil Henchman, Dictator with a Cigar, and Female Russian Speedskater dolls).

and co-sponsored and supported by? What does that matter? To build on Tamara's analogy, showing me bad Republicans to convince me that the Dems are actually OK is like showing a zebra pictures of another zebra getting eating by hyenas to try to convince it that the lions are actually OK and just want to look out for its wellbeing.
