Vote for Orlando Sanchez. The following is a short email conversation that I had with him.

My email to him

Mr. Sanchez:

I work downtown but do not live within the Houston city limits so will be unable to vote for you in the upcoming election. Nevertheless, I wanted to express my thanks to you for your stance on the issues, especially your willingness to protect our 2nd amendment rights, and to tell you that I will do all that I can to ensure that those who are eligible voters in Houston vote for you.

Good luck and God bless,

Michael aka MaterDei

His response...
Michael,
As a veteran of the United States Air Force, I understand the importance of our Constitution, The Second Amendment and your right to bear arms. I will work to protect it. Thank you for your support and keep spreading the word. Orlando

The word is spread :D

There are a lot of good reasons to support Orlando Sanchez, but it is also very good to know his stance on 2A rights. I have also heard he has promised to eliminate the goofy red badges at city hall. I live in Ft. Bend Co. so I can't vote for him either, but urge everyone in the city to get out and vote!

Say, aren't you in the 'Hammer's' district?

Sanchez also has realistic views about rail...but the 2A thing clinches it.
