So I was here last night typing away (actually doing it at dad'd house instead of mine) dad walks up, shows me an ad for a Ruger Mk4 22 cal commemerative auto pistol. Engraved, Ivorex stocks etc, 2 mags, special box etc.
Next thing I know I've activated my Davidson's account, dad's new ruger .22 should be here in a few days.. range report to follow. (Almost bought two).

As rugers go, that is one pretty piece. The extra money goes to a good cause. They are trying to do alot to make up for old Bills transgressions.

Awww come on, not trying to make this a political thing. Grew up shooting Rugers, first pistol ever was a Mark II 512, dad's was a mark 1 target.
We both agreed it should have been a target model rather than a std. model. Pretty pistol.

Picked it up last night. Very sporty little thing.
Special thanks to Rob at Rob's Guns, for letting me fondle everything else in the store while we awaited the insta-check.
Pics and shooting to follow.

I was being positive but maybe it didn't read that way. I like all the bells and whistles they put on this edition.
My dads first Auto pistol period was and old ruger target model. Ihad a great time shooting it as a teen. I wish my crack head brother didn't steal it and sell it for dope. The Di*k!
congrats and happy shooting.
