Greetings,

I have been googling for close to 2 hours trying to find ranges that rent pistols in either PA or CT. I've had only limited success, most places are outside of lets say 100 miles from White Plains NY area.

So I have to ask, are there any ranges in the north east part of PA that does rentals?
Also are there any in the south west part of CT that do rentals?

Thanks for all the input and help.

P.s. as I know it will be asked, I have all my paper work into the county for my NYS permit and am waiting for approval.

SunsetHill is good for rentals but like anything nowadays is expensive. It's very crowded on the weekends so going during the week would be best. They also rent fully automatic rifles if you wanted.

Sunset is about an hour from me , ditto on the long lines , and crowded weekends , It does thin out somewhat with school starting (weekdays of course ) ..

Aside from Sunset .. I cant think of much In my immediate area . (North Eastern PA/Pike County )

I've gone down to this place a few times with friends.

I haven't been there in a few years, but it was a pretty decent rental place last I knew. The website makes me believe nothing much has changed. According to mapquest ( White Plains(general) > Business location its Total Travel Estimates: 2 hours 54 minutes / 154.72 miles

It sure is a pain living here in NY where we aren't allowed rentals. It makes purchase decisions quite problematic. Heck , really the best option around here is just to make friends with people who own a varied selection from your own, and hook up for range time.

Offer to buy the ammo, and you should be able to make a lot of friends.
