do you carry just one, the same one, every day? Or, Do you switch it up? Maybe a auto one day, a pocket gun the next, then a Sunday wheel gun.....

I switch between these three.

zombienerd, nice Bersa, good gun for the money.

I have a black thunder 380, use to carry it several years ago, pre Kel-Tec. Mainly a fun range gun for my daughter now. Just expensive to feed. Even finding projectiles to reload have been a bear.

Anyhow nice piece.

Thanks for the compliment!! :D I love my little Bersa.

I've been lucky with the feeding. My local shop carries Prvi partizan .380 in boxes of 50 for $15, I can actually afford to bring it to the range every few weeks. They've had a "regular" stock of them, so I haven't been left ammoless yet.

I use the Remington Golden Sabers for my carry ammo. I pay about $1 per bullet for those, so I shoot them sparingly. I have fed 2-3 boxes through my Bersa with no malfunctions, so I'm confident in them for SD purposes.

I've been quite lucky, even my pro-mag magazines have been flawless :D

My carry items are a Springfield 1911 Mil Spec (surprisingly concealable with a cheap Stow and Go Galco IWB), a CZ P-01 9mm, and a Spyderco Native serrated folding knife.

I don't carry both pistols at once. I carry whichever one I feel like, but more the 1911 lately, now that I've shot it a lot and have figured out good concealment.

ALL weapons go concealed, including the knife (goes UNDER the belt).

I will be trying a Crossbreed Supertuck for the 1911 soon.

The P229 Elite is pretty, yes. It's silky smooth, yes. And of course - it's a Sig - I've put a couple thousand rounds through it in a year with exactly zero malfunctions.

If I had to pick one thing that was a downside going from a Sig P6/P225 9mm to the P229 Elite .40 - it would be that fully loaded, the damn thing weighs about 3 pounds. It has taken some getting used to - but I'm still happy with it a year later.

The heavy, double-stack .40 is honestly only slightly less concealable than the single-stack 9mm was, although I've not had a problem with concealability - but whew...you feel it after a few hours.

I've actually considered getting something smaller (still in a minimum .40 or >) to carry, as I'm getting old and fat and stuff and my back is already jacked enough without carrying a brick on my hip all day - but I'll still keep it around somewhere.

She's a bute' Clark...a real bute'.

Hello friends and neighbors // I am 6'4" , 250 lbs. //

I can get away with 6" S&W 586 , 357 IWB. I wear size 40 waist but buy size 42.. ///

I am looking at three smaller revolvers (3" or less) and will switch to one of these later this month.

For now this is what I am used to:

S&W 586 : 357/38, 6" / With very thin hogue grips. I like blued for SD/HD because nickle or stainless reflects more light and can make you a target.

Revolver IWB (left side with butt toward belly for cross draw ) , speed loader in left hand cargo pocket protected with a handkerchief // Case with little lady, sometimes in right hand cargo pocket but mostly stays in glove box. (does not hold tampons).// All three contain Corbon 357 125gr JHP .(total 25; 6 in revolver/6 in speed loader/ 13 in case w/ little lady)

Cell phone in red belt pouch and flashlight with whistle in black belt pouch, left side, adds bulk above and behind revolver imprint.

Swiss army knife, left front pocket. Extra bootlaces as lanyard for S.A.K. hang out of pocket.// Draws attention away from pistol print and gives easy access to knife. Most people only know I carry S.A.K. and think of it as multi tool not weapon.

Gerber folding knife, right hip pocket under wallet.

In S.C. cargo shorts and wind breaker can be worn from April til November. This configuration allows use of right side front, cargo and left hip pocket for misc. daily needs. (camera,gum....) Also allows me to hug others as they aviod cell phone, flashlight area .104853

///// I think I need a flashlight with push button on/off switch instead of twist action.//// Also need slim digital camera w/ video.

I mix it up quite a bit. W/ dress slacks, I typically have my G27 in a Nemesis pocket holster. That is my primary CCW. W/ jeans, I carry a full sized auto under an untucked button down shirt; either a 1911 in an open top OWB pancake, or a CZ85 in a generic Bianchi IWB. On the weekends wearing shorts or warmups walking for exercize, I wear a Murse w/ either an XDm .40 or the afformentioned CZ.

When wearing casual slacks or dockers, (basically anything that I have to wear at work with smaller pockets than dress slacks), I carry a Scandium J-Frame smith with CT grips.

As a general rule, I carry a PPK/S in .380 and a Beretta Jetfire .25 as BUG 99% of the time. I've been experimenting from time to time with using a Walther PPS and a Walther P99C with the AS trigger as primary carry guns, replacing the PPK/S. But at this point, and the past lord only knows how many years, I'm more comfortable with the PPK/S and haven't knocked it out of the lead spot in the order since ... well, since Lassie was a pup.

I'm glad to see Im not the only one who carries a PA-63. It accurate and slim and best of all if I had to use it I wouldn't feel terrible about losing a $700 SIG to the evidence locker.

G26 with 10 round magazine, and a G17 magazine as spare. I use this combo year-round, both in business and casual attire.

The only time it will change, is if I am walking my land. Then I will sometimes carry a 4" GP-100 OWB.

TR Guy, do you find that the bigger grip on your j frame in that desantis nemisis holster is a bit much for CC or do you have bigger pockets than me? I tried a pachmayr decelerator which I think is about the same size and it is just enough big enough it prints quite badly for me. The factory uncle mikes grips hide a lot better for me.

Currently carrying a Ruger Security Six, 4" bbl, but researching smaller/lighter .38 revolvers for purchase. I'm kind of partial to Rugers, so I'm looking at the SP-101 and the LCR, and also evaluating the S&W J-frame...

Kahr PM9, Kahr P380, and S&W 340PD. The PM9 is my constant companion (Desantis Nemisis holster). The P380 and 340PD are carried intermittently depending on clothing and weather.

I always (except at work, which is a CPZ) have one of my 380's on me: Sig Saur P238, Ruger LCP, or Bersa Thunder .380CC.

I've also taken to carrying my CZ P-07 Duty lately. I didn't buy it as a daily carry gun, but its performance changed my mind in a hurry. Couldn't get it to jam, no matter how hard I tried, and I shot very well with it. I will say though, it has some sharp, and I mean SHARP corners that make IWB carry difficult. Still looking for the perfect holster for it.

Smith & Wesson Model 637 Airweight. Great drop-in-the-pocket gun with BDU shorts in the summertime. Living in southeast Texas, this one gets the most year-round carry time. The HKS speed loaders go in another pocket.

Smith & Wesson Model 60 with 3-inch barrel. I special-ordered the Model 60 Pro grips from Smith & Wesson. I sometimes carry this and the Model 637 as my "New York Reload."

For those times when only the beast will do... FN-Herstal FNP-9 with one or two spare clips. Gives me the best part of a box of ammo.
