My Pardner does not want to extract a shell from the tube every five shots or so. It is like the lip just won't catch the end of the rim. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

What kind of shells are you using? Is the shell stuck in the chamber so much that you have to tap it out?

Are you saying that the bolt is back, the action is open, and there's still a shell stuck in the chamber? If that's the case, I'd look to the extractor. Could be too short, wrong angle, weak spring, or a bunch of other things I haven't thought of.

I called up H&R and a guy said it sounds like a bad feed latch. I guess I worded my origninal post wrong. What I meant is that it won't take a cartridge out of the feeding tube when I pull back the pump. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with a firearm. It is quite dissapointing but I suppose it happens to everyone eventually. I will be shipping it back soon via Academy Sports, hopefully so I don't have to pay shipping. :)

Steel shells do stick in the chamber every now and then so I might as well mention that and see if I can get a free barrel polish.
