Hello, I am Mark and I have an addiction. 3rd new gun in two months.
Ok, here come the Ramen Noodles; but seriously the haves did get paid first.
I came home from work and my fiancee says get in the car in a scary tone.
My first thought is "what'd I do now?"
I got in the passenger seat and she drove. She told me to close my eyes.
I kind of figured it out, because our aniversery is comming up, I guessed she was supprising me. She leads me out of the car, after we stop, into a building and says pick one. I open my eyes and I am in my friend's gun shop staring at a counter of 1911s, my friend was in on it.
Colts, Para p14s, Kimber Ultra and pro carrys, etc. Well, it worked, I was very supprised.

And this Colt Combat Elite came home with me. Were going shooting in a week. I love her, I found the perfect woman.
P.S. I bought her jewelry from Kay Jewlers, I am adding a $300 Spa trip and something else that I haven't figured out yet

If she is the perfect woman she would prefer her own 1911, or Glock, or S&W etc. to the diamonds. But even if that's not the case you've come mighty close!

She thinks they're to big for her. I've been trying to convince her to get the Springfield EMP. If I can ever fit one for her to test she would probably love it.

You'd better guard this beauty of yours with your new Colt........there will be a lot of people after her!
And........congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. My Redhead and I will be celebrating our 50th on 9-12-09. She's pretty tolerant of my love of guns but has never taken me gun shoppin'!! :p

No my friend, I mean GO to the Coach handbag store, buy her one with the leather so thick 'she can't hear her cell phone ring'. Trust me.
Ignore your tacticool machinations, get her something HER friends will drool over.
Unless you are co-hosting 'What Not to Wear' you have NO RIGHT picking out a purse for your gal.

+1 on this idea.
I got my wife a Coach purse for our recent anniversary and its easily her favorite gift I have ever gotten her. All her friends will be jealous. And really, they are not as expensive as I thought they would be.

I read the posts above about getting her jewelry at Kay Jewellers. Now, when I see Kay or a similar jeweller mentioned in a TV commercial where some chick is telling a pal that her man got it at Kay, etc., I'm puzzled why the store would be mentioned. More likely, the price, or the carat weight, or the cut of the stone.
Now, if he bought the jewelry at Van Cleef and Arpels or at Harry Winston, or had DeBeers cut the stones to order from stock directly from their mines, I can see where the source would be a matter of prestige. But from some typical mall jewelry store? Nah...Probably not. So...do you work for Kay Jewelers, and is this a hidden commercial? :neener: ;)

I don't work at Kay, I just mentioned it to tell everyone I bought her something too; but that it was not as great at what she got me.
