I just picked up a Weatherby Vanguard in 30-06 for my all around rifle. Looking for a quality scope for around $300. 3x9x40 is good. I am going to use Cabela's prices since that is where I do most of my research. Check the poll out and feel free to recommend something else.
Thanks THR.

Also consider Sightron. But of those above, Bushnell 4200.

Of all of those on the list the Leupold will give you the most genorous eye relief.
Especially important on high recoil rifles.

I picked up a 4200 from Bruno Shooters Supplies for less than $240. 3-9x-40 and love it.

Super Sniper scopes have very clear optics and hold zero very well

Zeiss Conquest MC fixed 4x is one in that price range that I recommend.
