Hi Everyone, Been busy and have not been on line. Getting ready to go to a Rondy. I bought a TC pistol today NIB. With double set triggers, that was what I was looking for. I hope I don't shoot low and to the right. With a hair trigger I should be a little better. I don't know what is going on THR. I'll catch up when I get back.
I didn't even know that TC made a pistol.....

Every one have a good weekend,

A Patriot? Knew they came in 45 and a few in 36, didn't know about a 50

I have a T/C Patriot .45 cal, excellent condition but not new.
Hammer was stopping at half cock occasionally when I shot.
Anson Morgan, Kenockee Trading Post, Avoca, fixed it for me by removing a few thousandths from the little button between coil spring & sear. Nice gun.
.36 cal is uncommon in these. So far as I knew, .50 cal Patriots are exceptionally uncommon.

With double set triggers it's a Patriot, but none of my references lists a .50 cal version, only .36 and .45.

LOL Actually... it's sitting on TOP of my gun cabinet... resting on a piece of cloth. I've got a storage issue for toys. :D Of course... I know how foreign that is to you.

Sorry about that, mine is a 45 cal. I picked it up from the guy on the way to the rondy. It is new but there is no box. I didn't get to fire it, was raining during the pistol shoot. Some might say rain don't bother a good BP shooter. but if you can't see the target. Came in 2nd place in the novelty shoot. I even shot a playing card in half. Out of 14 shoots the guy that taught me all the BP. tricks. He came in 1st with 12 and I came 2nd with 11. I won the blanket shoot. and came in 3rd in the gongs.
Getting back to the pistol, it is a spitting image of Ratdogs, I thought it was a 50. But I only looked at it once about a month ago. And I didn't remember that it was a 45. The guy wasn't sure he was going to sell it untill a few day s ago. Sure whish I could figure out how to post pictures on the site.
When I do shoot it I will let you all, know the out come. Should be better then my Traditions Plains pistol, in 50cal. I have that set trigger with a hair trigger. Should do away with shooting low and to the right. But I guess what I understand TC doesnt make pistols anymore..............

Haven't got out to the range with the TC 45 pistol. We got company coming next week. Now I don't want to hear nothing, I have to clean house. Because she works and I don't. But, I just bought a new pistol. And when we do go together to the range. She keeps my revolvers loaded and all I do is fire. I just got to wait until a week from Monday. Besides they are my little girls, that are now in there 30's.
